Introducing the CPX from RCD Performance, the CP4.2 Bosch should have built. This new reimagined pump features pinned lifter buckets to prevent them from rotating, which is the primary cause of metal-on-metal contact between the roller and cam. Many diesel models from Ford, GM, Dodge, and Jeep use a twin-piston, high-pressure fuel pump that has a history of self-destructing and causing significant damage to the fuel system. When this pump fails, the CP4.2 engine's high-pressure lines, fuel rails, and injectors can all become unusable, resulting in a repair bill that can easily reach $10,000. The repair process involves cleaning the tank, potentially replacing the lift pump, and about 30 hours of labor.

Bottom line, this pump solved the OEM issues and can save you thousands in potential repair bills.
